Elrond is stunned, finding the Valar returned Elros to Arda. After the joy of being reunited with his twin, old issues begin to surface. Elrond has to face his past and make his peace with past decisions.
At the same time, Glorfindel finds himself responsible for a very cranky chief advisor who turns bed ridden. Accepting his duty to care for Erestor, Glorfindel finds the advisor is hiding old hurt and fragile hope.
