As this scene doesn't fit in with Love of my Life, nor with Behind Emerald Eyes, I decided to give it a page of its own. We all know that Haldir didn't die in Helm's Deep, but in this version more happened between Haldir and Legolas than we thought.
After Legolas faced losing Haldir in battle, he is now determined to keep part of his lover alive, even should Haldir die unexpectedly. After the horrid battle of Helm's Deep, they make love in the hope to create a new life.
